Still trying to figure out what to make with the Tumblr edition. Any suggestions?

The International Coastal Cleanup(ICC) is the world’s largest volunteer effort for ocean’s health. Its mission is to help clean the seas, lakes, and waterways, and to raise awareness on the growing marine debris problem. Aside from cleaning up shorelines and waterways, ICC also collects debris information that helped inform and inspire policies to prevent ocean trash.

Take part in this year’s ICC Day on September 21, 2013 from 7AM until 11AM. Cleanup sites in Metro Manila will be at Baywalk, Roxas Blvd and Freedom Island in Paranaque.

Visit the ICC Philippines site for more details.

Quite gloomy in my town today - it’s been raining since morning. Still, I feel a lot better since I got my hair done and ditched that hideous brown hair. Thanks to the guys from Pinoy Animal Crossing group for opening their towns and letting me visit their Shampoodle.

Except for my weekly Japanese language review sessions, I haven’t been to anywhere exciting, hence the lack of posts in this blog.

I probably should start making an outline on the things I could blog about and seriously work on it, like what I have been saying for the ghosts of blogging past.

For example, a monthly compilation of Instagram and/or Foursquare photos that can go like, “<insert month here> in a Glance.” Or something wittier like “August in a Blast.” /sigh. I suck at this naming thing.

I could also do a weekly anime segment by reviewing new anime titles - “Chances of Me Watching the Next Episode.” Because I lost count of all anime series I have put on-hold.

I also thought of making a video gaming blog, quite similar to Conan’s Clueless Gamer segment, because I don’t really play video games despite of how nerdy I am. My commentaries will never be as hilarious as Conan’s though.

But now that I’m thinking about it, I might give it a chanc since I recently bought my very first gaming device - a Nintendo 3DS XL, yay! - much to the dismay of my Sony fanboy buddy who was more than willing to share his PSN account with me.

Yes, that might be a good idea after all.

Lunch at Gayuma ni Maria for our JLPT N5 refresher class. I am starting to like the idea of holding our classes at random restos along Maginhawa St. because it feels like I’m hitting two birds with one stone - learning Nihongo and going on a weekly food trip.

If only it did not cost us that much. This lunch robbed us a total of a thousand bucks from our pockets. And that 1000-peso worth meal consists of fresh mango shakes, chili cheese logs, dinuguan, baked chicken, rice, and desserts. I guess I enjoyed poking fun at their dishes name too much that I lost count of our growing bill.

Anyway, I would definitely recommend couples to check this place out. It’s like how I imagined Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop on V-day would look like - lacy curtains to give each table some privacy, a playlist of sweet love songs playing in the background, and a corner of kinky toys for the after party.
